Like artist point, this is another snowshoe trail with close proximity to a ski area and hence accessible throughout the winter.

It was starting to get dark and avalanche danger was high so we stayed on the ski hill instead of going to the artist point trail. In summer hike from artist point to. 1 mile, 200 feet net elevation gain.
The trek up was pretty mild, although walking with snowshoes for the first time just takes a little patience with yourself and practice. Exact change makes it easier to divide among our drivers. Upper lodge to artist point trail is a 3.9 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near maple falls, washington that offers the chance to see wildlife and is rated as moderate.
